Meet the Midwife

“Natalie can we take you home with us” and the realisation that families in London require compassionate, empathetic in home care having navigated some of the busiest maternity services in the country have been my inspiration for conceiving the Take Home Midwifery Service

Hello, my name is Natalie and I am a registered midwife working in South West London and most areas of London and home counties.

I studied at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Kings College University and trained at Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital, where I have continued to work providing personalised antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care to many families over the years.

I have worked as a ward midwife supporting families post birth. I have run an antenatal clinic and have provided intrapartum care on both the complex labour ward and the serene environment of the birth centre. I understand the importance of discretion having worked as a private case-loading midwife on the Clayton Ward, part of Imperial Private Healthcare.

Having being blessed with four children of my own and two grandchildren I understand the barriers new parents can experience first hand. I have a passion for infant feeding and am currently training to become an International board certified lactation consultant. In addition to the many families I have supported with their feeding journeys over the years in my role as midwife, I have ten years personal experience breastfeeding and a range of tips and skills to support your lactation journey.

Whether recovering from a vaginal , instrumentally supported or emergency / elective caesarean birth. The Take Home Midwifery Service is here to support you from bloom to blossom, helping your family to thrive whilst you rest relax and recover in safe hands.
